§1

Name, Address, Residence, Financial Year

1. The registered club is named „Caribbean-European United Society e.V.“.

2. The Club has been registered in the Berliner „Vereinsregister“.

3. The financial year is the calendar year.

§2

Purpose of the Society

The objective of the society is to develop and support a Caribbean-European community, where people from the Caribbean and their families, who live in Berlin and around Berlin, together with European people can find a place for meetings and exchange. Caribbean-European relations and friendships shall be promoted.

These objectives shall be accomplished by:

1. Support of meetings, contacts and cultural exchange between people from the Caribbean and Europeans.

2. Support of Caribbean-European couples and their children and juveniles in the fields of culture and social affairs by counselling, talks and contacts.

3. Support of parents of Caribbean-European children and juveniles with social or vocational problems. Support of the childrens cultural development in order to provide a successful integration.

4. Support when problems with authorities or legal affairs occur.

5. Presentation of the Caribbean in public.

6. To inform about current economical and cultural events in the Caribbean and about events in Berlin related to the Caribbean.

7. Support of projects here and in the Caribbean, especially related to health-care and prophylaxis. Support of social self-help-abilities.
